Practising at 70 BPM
70 beats per minute sits in the Adagio range. If a passage is not clean yet, work up to it in steps: play it at 56 BPM until it is easy, then 63, then 70. Small steps build accuracy faster than repeating mistakes at full speed.
Every click is scheduled on the audio clock in advance, so the tempo stays exactly at 70 BPM for as long as you play.
